Almost time ...

It's almost time - leaving in 2 days.

It still does not feel real.

A huge shout-out to my honey-bunny, Gene, for encouraging me to go and supporting me in this adventure. 💋

Mom, I know you are excited for me but I also know you can't wait for me to get home 😍

Dad, thanks for your super kind words in the email you sent in response to my itinerary 😘

And of course, a special thanks to all of you - my family and friends. You ALL have been happy for me and that is a really cool feeling.  I don't feel like I am going alone because of that.

    This trip will change your life. Visiting a country unlike your own changes you, challenges you to look beyond your culture to one that’s often misunderstood. Ever since I have been a young adult my mom has referred to me as the Pied Piper.  I love kids and kids love me. So you can only imagine how delighted I was  heading into the Takshashila Academy for a special presentation and a chance to work with/meet the girls in the Saturday program coordinated by Little Sisters Fund - a Together Women Rise grantee . ------------------------------------ We were warmly greeted by many adults in the courtyard and lots of Namastes and smiles .  (We would ultimately experience this again and again throughout the trip.   We felt like celebrities .)
